West Plano Presbyterian Church is a member congregation in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) that worships in the Reformed liturgical tradition. The liturgy offered today is derived from the 1993 Presbyterian Book of Common Worship with some texts borrowed from the larger ecumenical community.
Some of what we do and say might be different from what you have experienced previously. Because we come as body, mind, and soul, our liturgy offers a rich mosaic of word and symbol, gesture and movement, song and silence. It takes time to learn and grow into the pattern of the liturgy. Therefore, we invite you to let go of any uneasiness and allow the assembly to carry you through any unfamiliar places in this liturgy.
If you would like to know more about who are we and what we’re passionate about, please feel free to speak with the pastor or any of our members. We would welcome the conversation.
