History of Jeremiah’s Plot

Jeremiah’s Plot Community Garden was established in 2009 by WPPC as an initiative to address the issue of hunger in our community. Over the past decade this outreach has grown well beyond immediate members of the congregation to include gardeners from many surrounding communities.

We remain committed to our mission of providing fresh organic produce to our families, neighbors, and to those in our community who suffer from hunger.

Garden members are able to rent individual plots and commit to working together to maintain common areas and pantry plots, ensuring that our garden remains as productive as possible. At least 20% of all produce harvested is contributed to our local food pantries which serve the larger community.
